Austin, Texas Bachelorette Weekend

We think it depends on the size of your group. If you have a small group, a hotel on Rainey Street is the way to go! Our recommendation is the Kimpton Van Zandt. If you need to cater to a larger group (5 or more), an AirBnB is the way to go. One of the best Austin AirBnB's for a bachelorette is hands-down Inn Cahoots on 6th as it can sleep up to 16 and has the coolest amenities! From the outdoor lounge area, champagne fountain, and newly installed bar, this location is hard to beat. Plus, you can rent one of the 3 downstairs units (all 2-stories) with living rooms that connect if you have an extra large group. Not to mention, each unit has it's own theme! Major Instagram photo ops at this location.

For amazing river views, head to Jacoby’s. They have 10/10 mac and cheese and to-die-for crispy brussels sprouts. Bonus: this place is great for outdoor seating! Launderette is also was one of our favorites! It's a Mediterranean style restaurant with so many options. They’re known for their burrata and charred octopus.

If you're in the ATX, odds are your getting your drank on at 6th Street! 6th street is a little rowdier and known for a fun night out. The best 6th Street bars in our opinion are Handlebar (AMAZING ROOFTOP),Midnight Cowboy (very classy vibe), andThe Jackalope (fun dive bar).

Rainey Street is a little more millennial - the whole district is made up of old homes turned bars with great backyards. A lot of character here and our favorite when visiting! Our recommendations for Rainey Street are The Tipsy Alchemist (unique drinks, great atmosphere, and always a good time - dying for this disco punch bowl!), Unbarlievable (cute circus theme bar with so many Instaworthy moments, fishbowl drinks, great party vibe and patio), Container Bar (open air dance floor and a great late night spot), and Bangers (a classic beer garden). Also, be sure to check out nearby P6 at the Line Hotel (great views of Austin and the cutest IG photo op).

For a fun early evening "pregame," we love a tour and vodka tasting atDeep Eddy Vodka! Another unique experience is anAustin Ghost Tour and Haunted Pub Crawl. This is definitely an “at dusk” experience but many love it!

Now if you like a traditional Texas style dance hall, Broken Spoke Bar is amazing for you! No frills, just line dancing! If you want a night club option, Speakeasy Nightclub is for you. Two great places to sing and dance your heart out are Pete’s Dueling Piano Bar or Karaoke Room at Highball. Austin is a city known for live music! If you’re bar hopping on 6th Street or Rainey Street, you’ll definitely stumble upon it!

ATX Hangover Cures :

Time for a proper boozy brunch! We recommend Grizzeldas! Grizzeldas is classic Tex Mex with some of the best brunch in Austin! We would recommend trying the Churro Chicken & Waffles! We also love Fonda San Miguel! This is another Tex Mex spot, but it’s a BUFFET! Be aware they only offer this on Sundays. We’d recommend a reservation! Sawyer & Co is a great option for your traditional brunch! They are known for their fried chicken biscuit.

Shop till you drop! We love South Congress! It's a classic spot in Austin and there's several different boutiques and shops!

At The Austin Winery, you can set up a private tour! If you don’t mind driving 90 minutes to Fredericksburg (hire a tour group to take your bride tribe!), you can then experience the best wine Texas has to offer. Rolling green hills and great views make this a great day trip.

For a lake getaway with your BFF's, rent a Party Boat on Lake Travis! Most companies will let you add some fun floats too!

You can also check out Barton Springs Pool! It's a natural swimming pool made from underwater springs. It also looks STUNNING in photos, perfect for an Insta pic!

Go toJos Coffee and pose in front of their iconic “I love you so much wall." They also happen to have amazing coffee! You can also visit The Welcome to Austin mural down by congress. If you walk through the streets of downtown, you are sure to stumble into dozens of Instaworthy walls! This is why Austin is one of the best cities for “mural hunting.” You never know what you’ll find!
